Just found out that I’ve won the daily draw on the website Scramble.com.

I won myself a Russel Hobbs Smoothie Maker worth £20.

Scramble is amazing and if you have a twitter or Facebook account then I suggest signing up.

How Scramble Works

You can submit a prize up to the value of £1000 and every day/week/month there are draws to choose the winner from the highest rated item.

Daily Draw- prizes up to £20
Weekly Draw- Prizes up to £100
Monthly Draw-Prizes up to £1000

I’ve found that the best time to vote is to wait until the draw is just about to finish and then vote on the highest ranking gift in that draw. Saves you wasting your time trying to vote on everything.

I voted on today’s daily draw item 5 minutes before the draw ended and won.
Winners are chosen at random.

It’s really that simple.

Classic British Humour

Everyone knows that details are far too easily obtained online these days, but have you ever thought about offline?

I went into town today to grab some flyers about home internet from some of the shops.
Picked up a brochure from one of the shops and took it home.

I was looking at the front cover when I saw some writing indents in the light. Upon further inspection it appears that I now have the following:

Name of person
Address in Edinburgh
Address in France
E-mail address
Date of Birth
and Mobile Number.

luckily for this person it says at the bottom

“bank details to follow”

This could easily have fallen into the wrong hands and if there were bank details on there then this person would truly have been royally screwed.

Just goes to show that people need to be more careful with their details offline as well as online.

How safe are your details?

I think it’s official now. I have an addiction to twitter and I have no idea how it happened.

It’s one of my most visited sites now. Simply to see what the 16 people that I follow are saying in as little words as possible.

How on earth does something like twitter manage to capture the attention of so many people?
I’ll tell you why.

It’s simple, to the point and convenient.

You can follow the people you want to follow and only see things that they say. No more listening to what other people have to say when you quite simply couldn’t care.

You can “tweet” on the move by using many of the applications available to the smart phones of today. I personally find myself using either twitterfon or twitterific on my iPhone or just the basic Twitter app on my BB Storm.

It’s amazing how quickly you can inform people of what you are doing at that time whether it is important or not.

It’s also a brilliant way to find out what your favourite celebs are up to if you are into celeb stalking. Not that I am…..oooh @lilyroseallen has her own jewellery line coming out soon. It allows normal people to feel like they are connected on a personal level with their idols and some are even kind enough to respond to anything that is asked to them.

Twitter is becoming one of the worlds fastest growing phenomenons and it’s quite easy to see why.
