Well I just woke up this morning to find out on the news that the North East of Scotland has been hit with floods that have been so bad they have submerged cars almost completely.

This is actually the street at the back of my girlfriends house.

I have lived up in Peterhead/Aberdeen ever since I was born and I have never seen anything quite like this. I am now 22 and have moved away to Edinburgh and this just seems crazy that anything like this could have happened to my hometown.

Worst flooding I saw in my 21 years of living there was a big puddle at the Queen Street traffic lights because the drain was blocked.
